I use this site partially as a portfolio for projects I make, either as part of uni, or in my free time.
I tried to design the site drawing inspiration from mid-2000s era web design, mixed in with some more modern elements. A big source of inspiration for me was Serial Experiments Lain, which is by far one of my favourite pieces of media. I love older anime like Steins;Gate, Code Geass and Evangelion too, and I’m drawn to the stranger corners of philosophy, from Deleuze to the CCRU. The site isn’t meant to recreate any one of them, but that mix of old web, technology, and slightly uncanny ideas is a big part of why it looks and feels the way it does.
I use my own static site generator shizuka to build this site, and I host in on cloudflare workers. This site has an RSS Feed if you are interested in subscribing.
